Christians receive the Bible as Scripture and therefore as authoritative for faith and life. Trusting Scripture should lead to more careful reading, not less: context, genre, history, translation, manuscript evidence, and the whole biblical witness matter.
A high view of Scripture is not permission to quote verses without context. The Bible contains narrative, poetry, wisdom, prophecy, Gospels, letters, and apocalyptic writing.
Open the passages. Read the surrounding chapters. Compare translations. Search related passages. If our summary does not survive that process, tell us. Authority should be earned through transparent work, not demanded through branding.
