Exodus 4:10“Please, Lord,” Moses replied, “I have never been eloquent, neither in the past nor since You have spoken to Your servant, for I am slow of speech and tongue.”Exodus 4:11And the LORD said to him, “Who gave man his mouth? Or who makes the mute or the deaf, the sighted or the blind? Is it not I, the LORD?Exodus 4:12Now go! I will help you as you speak, and I will teach you what to say.”2 Chronicles 15:1Now the Spirit of God came upon Azariah son of Oded.2 Chronicles 15:2So he went out to meet Asa and said to him, “Listen to me, Asa and all Judah and Benjamin. The LORD is with you when you are with Him. If you seek Him, He will be found by you, but if you forsake Him, He will forsake you.2 Chronicles 15:3For many years Israel has been without the true God, without a priest to instruct them, and without the law.2 Chronicles 15:4But in their distress they turned to the LORD, the God of Israel, and sought Him, and He was found by them.2 Chronicles 15:5In those days there was no safety for travelers, because the residents of the lands had many conflicts.2 Chronicles 15:6Nation was crushed by nation, and city by city, for God afflicted them with all kinds of adversity.2 Chronicles 15:7But as for you, be strong; do not be discouraged, for your work will be rewarded.”2 Chronicles 15:8When Asa heard these words and the prophecy of Azariah son of Oded the prophet, he took courage and removed the detestable idols from the whole land of Judah and Benjamin and from the cities he had captured in the hill country of Ephraim. He then restored the altar of the LORD that was in front of the portico of the LORD’s temple.2 Chronicles 15:9And he assembled all Judah and Benjamin, along with those from the tribes of Ephraim, Manasseh, and Simeon who had settled among them, for great numbers had come over to him from Israel when they saw that the LORD his God was with him.2 Chronicles 15:10So they gathered together in Jerusalem in the third month of the fifteenth year of Asa’s reign.2 Chronicles 15:11At that time they sacrificed to the LORD seven hundred oxen and seven thousand sheep from all the plunder they had brought back.2 Chronicles 15:12Then they entered into a covenant to seek the LORD, the God of their fathers, with all their heart and soul.2 Chronicles 15:13And whoever would not seek the LORD, the God of Israel, would be put to death, whether young or old, man or woman.2 Chronicles 15:14They took an oath to the LORD with a loud voice, with shouting, trumpets, and rams’ horns.2 Chronicles 15:15And all Judah rejoiced over the oath, for they had sworn it with all their heart. They had sought Him earnestly, and He was found by them. So the LORD gave them rest on every side.2 Chronicles 16:7At that time Hanani the seer came to King Asa of Judah and told him, “Because you have relied on the king of Aram and not on the LORD your God, the army of the king of Aram has escaped from your hand.2 Chronicles 16:8Were not the Cushites and Libyans a vast army with many chariots and horsemen? Yet because you relied on the LORD, He delivered them into your hand.2 Chronicles 16:9For the eyes of the LORD roam to and fro over all the earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose hearts are fully devoted to Him. You have acted foolishly in this matter. From now on, therefore, you will be at war.”2 Chronicles 16:10Asa was angry with the seer and became so enraged over this matter that he put the man in prison. And at the same time Asa oppressed some of the people.2 Chronicles 18:7The king of Israel answered, “There is still one man through whom we can inquire of the LORD, but I hate him because he never prophesies anything good for me, but only bad. He is Micaiah son of Imlah.” “The king should not say that!” Jehoshaphat replied.2 Chronicles 18:8So the king of Israel called one of his officials and said, “Bring Micaiah son of Imlah at once.”2 Chronicles 18:9Dressed in royal attire, the king of Israel and Jehoshaphat king of Judah were sitting on their thrones at the threshing floor by the entrance of the gate of Samaria, with all the prophets prophesying before them.2 Chronicles 18:10Now Zedekiah son of Chenaanah had made for himself iron horns and declared, “This is what the LORD says: ‘With these you shall gore the Arameans until they are finished off.’”2 Chronicles 18:11And all the prophets were prophesying the same, saying, “Go up to Ramoth-gilead and triumph, for the LORD will deliver it into the hand of the king.”2 Chronicles 18:12Then the messenger who had gone to call Micaiah instructed him, “Behold, with one accord the words of the prophets are favorable to the king. So please let your words be like theirs, and speak favorably.”2 Chronicles 18:13But Micaiah said, “As surely as the LORD lives, I will speak whatever my God tells me.”2 Chronicles 18:14When Micaiah arrived, the king asked him, “Micaiah, should we go to war against Ramoth-gilead, or should we refrain?” “Go up and triumph,” Micaiah replied, “for they will be delivered into your hand.”2 Chronicles 18:15But the king said to him, “How many times must I make you swear not to tell me anything but the truth in the name of the LORD?”2 Chronicles 18:16So Micaiah declared: “I saw all Israel scattered on the hills like sheep without a shepherd.
